Text Box: Text Box: WELCOME TO OUR WEB SITE
Here you can learn about us and what we do. Abbeville County Emergency Management is made up of Emergency Medical Services (EMS), E911, and Emergency Preparedness combined under one department.

While these are three separate departments in themselves, we all work together as well, to respond to the needs of all Abbeville County Citizens.

Please check back soon for updates. I am in the process of creating a new web site and will be adding more information soon.

This free class teaches how to recognize the warning signs of suicide and teaches you what questions to ask someone who is thinking about suicide. How to persuade them that there is another solution to the problem and how to refer them to get help. This class is very helpful to teachers, police officers, parents, EMS, fire fighters and anyone who wants to take it.

We will come to your site and teach either one of these classes for free to your group or you can attend one of the classes we have scheduled.

The Next Of Kin Registry (NOKR) was established as a FREE tool for daily emergencies and national disasters. NOKR is an emergency contact system to help if you or your family member is missing, injured or deceased. NOKR provides the public a free proactive service to store emergency contacts, next of kin and vital medical information that would be critical to emergency response agencies. Stored information is only accessible via a secure area that is only accessible by emergency public trust agencies that have registered with NOKR.
